After 5 years of work and a degree in Engineering and the work-ex in Investment Banking, the recession seems to have an equal impact on my career. Every day you step in the office just to check your mails first for a number to be dialled. The number to your Director whether you still are mentally and 'handily fit to work on your computer and on the Equities System.
After joining in from one of the leading PSU (Public Sector Unit) of India, many just tried to portray my decision as the worst of my life. However this does not seem to be bothering me anymore. Never mind the mention of the mail in the first paragraph. With the current scenario and the overall negligence of what exactly is happening, I decided to do my Masters in Economics. And with a year over, Economics seems to be ever more interesting and the way it manages and impacts the Capital Market, Primary or Secondary, is even more astonishing and mind boggling.
With the Indian elections now over, and the comments by the leading economist of the world about , the third world countries bailing the world out of the recession, the world’s eye are primarily on India and China.
So let’s see where we end up, and I with my Masters in Economics.
